“As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.”
– Andrew Carnegie
Do you really want to be rich? Or have you been pretending about it? I know that’s a foolish question to ask but it is necessary that I do.
How do wealthy people think? What’s so special about the way they think that has always made their wealth to grow increasingly? By thinking like them can anyone become rich too?
If you are serious about being wealthy you will have to learn how the wealthy think. You will have to know the lingo and the language, where they eat and live, how they work and relax, how they invest and save, and what they think about money in general.
If you’ve made up your mind to be wealthy like I did, here are few questions you must ask yourself about wealthy people:
¤ What’s their value for time?
If there’s anything wealthy people value so much it is time. They understand that Life = Time. That’s to mean, if they waste their time, they are wasting their life.
The more time you save, the more money you are likely going to make. So why not save more of it?
¤ What do they think about money?
Yes! Everyone has his right to think anything about money but until you think it the way wealthy people do, the money will neither come or stay long if it ever comes. The poor thinks that money bring happiness but the rich knows it doesn’t.
Jean Paul Getty said; “money is like manure. You have to spread it around or it smells. Build wealth as a by product of your business success. If wealth is your only obective in business, you will probably fail.”
¤ What do the wealthy think about passive income strategy?
I have written an article about Passive Income Strategy here before so I wouldn’t bore you with the meaning and how to profit from it but if you are interested to know more you can search it out right here in my blog.
Few wealthy men of the 19th and early 20th century hardly believe that passive income strategy is necessary to becoming the wealthiest in life. Someone like Andrew Carnegie advices that to be wealthy you should put all your eggs in one basket and keep a strong watch over the basket while others like Warren Buffett, Aliko Dangote, Richard Branson and the rest of them believes in ‘a little on the right, a little on the left’ which simply explains passive income earning.
No one becomes wealthy doing one thing. Otherwise in time of crisis he or she will experience total meltdown economically.
¤ What do the wealthy think about networking?
The wealthy believes that no one is self-made. Everybody needs someone. Sometimes the someone you might need will be a customer, a mentor or a new business partner. Warren Buffett said; “it is better to hang out with people better than you. Pick out associates whose behaviour is better than yours and you will drift in that direction.”
¤ What do the wealthy think about buying and selling?
Just like Rich Dad rightly taught us, learning sales skills is the best choice anyone can make. J. Paul Getty and Carlos Slim Helu taught us that buying when others are selling is the best formula in becoming wealthy in life.
In buying, don’t waste your time in liabilities, go for assets. Liabilities are those ones that takes money away from you while assets are those ones that brings money in.
Based on this explanation; how many assets and liabilities are in your budget this year? If you want to think like the wealthy you must learn how to buy more assets over liabilities.
¤ What is the perception of the wealthy about failure?
An average man sees failure as a stumbling block while the wealthy or one who thinks like the wealthy sees it as another opportunity to try again. Oprah Winfrey said; “Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.”
The wealthy became wealthy the day they identified the needs of the people and accepted to meet it. They do this through the Law of Potential Difference by feeding the emotions of the masses and feeding their own intelligence.
Almost all wealthy people became wealthy by first thinking it. After then came the organisation of those thoughts. So by thinking like them, reading the kind of newspapers they do and following every point I have listed above, will you become wealthy in life.

How has your journey in the world of business been? Have you be going from success-to-failure or on the reverse? Well, whatever your state is I’m here again with the 7-Manifold Business Strategies that will help you become a key player in the business sector. Remember, the result comes on application and not just reading this.
1. Get a Big Picture of the Business
Very simple! By this I mean, get a vision. No business becomes big without a vision. Put your vision on paper. If you are afraid of anyone stealing your idea (like I often get atimes), analyse it with a diagram which only you can understand.
Your business can only get as far as your vision can go. So, if you are interested to build a Multi-Billion Dollar Business like myself and my Blogging Mentor, Ajaero Tony Martins owner of MyTopBusinessIdea.com & StrategicBusinessTeam.com, then you must get a big picture of the business in many years to come.
2. Work Hard, Work Smart
This two ‘adjectives’ are completely different. Poor people know how to work hard even on hard works that yields little or no result but the elites who are considered the shakers and movers in the world of business have mastered the strategy of harmonizing the two to maximize profit.
One of the best advice I have ever received was from the Project Manager of SPDC Nigeria, Engr. Ihendu Ogba. He said in a low tone; “Emenike, I will help you but Hard work pays!” Although it sounds simple but the impart of that word can only be erased by eternity.
Work hard, work smart even at soft works.
3. Start With Your Own Savings
Many money lending homes may want to offer you money to start a business but don’t accept that if you want to make it big. Banks don’t give CAPITAL, they give CREDIT and for every credit, you are bound to be in debt. Zig Ziglar said; “you don’t need to be great to start but you need to start to be great.”
The best way to start a business is to start with your own savings.

In my research of who Entrepreneurs and Leaders are, I discovered that no Entrepreneur ever became successful until he or she have ascended to the high place of leadership – in that case such a person must be a leader in his or her field.
These Reasons as will be outlined below are the characters of true Leaders every Entrepreneur must have in order to be successful. Entrepreneurs who have mastered how to make these things their core values end up building trans-generational business empires.
Would you like to know those reasons? Then join me as we explore them right away.
1. Leaders know how to delegate authority
Do you know you can’t be everywhere at the same time? Have you ever asked yourself how passive income grows? If yes, then you must have practiced delegation or thinking about it right now.
If you must succeed in your quest of being an Entrepreneur of Distinction you must learn to delegate authority rightly.
“Surround yourself with the best people you can find, DELEGATE authority, and don’t interfere as long as the policy you’ve decided upon is being carried out.”
– Ronald Reagan
2. Leaders are good decision makers
They understood the impart of the decisions they make.
“Whenever you see successful business some once made a courageous decision.”
– Peter F. Drucker
It will be impossible to make progress without making decision. So, don’t leave it in the hand of another person.
I advocate that you make the decision to buy [assets] when others are selling just like Paul J. Getty and Carlos Slim did in their time.
3. Leaders are creative and innovative
Creativity and Innovation must be the key function of every Entrepreneur. “Creativity is thinking new thing while innovation is doing new thing.”

– Sam Dede
In summary, you are a limit breaker.
When you look at yourself, what do you see?
Do you see a failure, or a champion positioned to rule the world? Do you see a complainer or a trailblazer, pathfinder and pacesetter?
Do the challenges around you in anyway inspire your thought to envisage the endless opportunities divinity made available to you?
I have come to discover that as the quest for overnight success intensifies, more opportunities are created for people of diligence. Today, they may not look like it but over time, you will discover that these ones will be more positioned to lead in their chosen profession than those who forced half-baked blessing to come their way.
My dear, you are a limit breaker. Limit breakers don’t seek for shortcuts. They take on the long-but-lasting approach to their great future. They trust God that if they can persevere more, the limit will break. And can I tell you something? It does.
Do not let anyone deceive you. If you can constantly work day and night for it, give up your sleep, strength and energy for it in prayer, planning and execution, sooner your vision will become a reality in your hand.

It’s in you.
Yes. It’s in you. That greatness you have been so desirous to attend is not as far from you as it seems or any detractor might want to make you believe. That greatness is in you.
Your certificates, connections and background might be wonderful leveraging tools to help you achieve your big dream, but in essence, what you need to be great is in you.
Don’t let the devil trick you into abandoning your gift, passion and dream in pursuit of a temporal success he has to offer. What you need to be great is not ‘up there’ but right inside of you.
Never you underestimate the power of your mind to perform with excellence. Those who did, reaped regret and mediocrity as their rewards.
Consistently remind yourself that your GREATNESS is in you. Reconfigure your mind to believe in possibilities. Engage in activities that create room for your best to surface.
If it ever seems like it is not there (in you) is because you have consistently ignored it. And guess what? Whatever you ignore, over time, dies a natural death.
However, if you still find it difficult discovering that potential upon which your greatness has been wired to emanate from or you’ve discovered it but wants to learn how you can convert it into a funnel that channels income to you, then discussing it over with me won’t be a bad idea.
You are never too old to pursue your dream. Don’t let the date on the calendar limit your success in life.
If you can dream again, you can rise again. You are not as far from success as your detractors are making you believe.
Just that phone call, that text message, that blog post, that interview, that book, that new friend or just that short prayer could be the next bridge that will connect you to your long expected future.
Don’t give up until you breathe your last. Those who gave up, never went up.

You missed it. You messed up. You got it all wrong. It shocked you. But you have not come unto the end of your destiny. Your destiny is too big to be aborted by the devil. Even man’s effort to soil your glorious destiny is like a futile exercise made in pursuit of shadow.
Don’t dwell too long nursing your pains of repeated disappointments. Those that disappointed you don’t really know your worth. No one puts a knife to the cord that holds both of you together if he or she really understood your worth.
Destiny won’t end here. You may have missed it, messed up or got it all wrong but as long as you learnt something from it you haven’t really failed. Failure comes when you saw where you missed it yet you are not determined to do anything different from the old ways you did it.
Be optimistic, but always be ready to deal with issues of disappointment when it comes up. I’m yet to see anyone who has never been disappointed before.
Understand the fact that everyone won’t meet your expectations, and when they couldn’t, don’t you ever think that you have come to the end of your destiny-journey. Even if it seems like it is true, look up, get up and a fresh idea to begin all over again will manifest.
No matter how bad it is, never you let the enemy take away the joy of the Lord in you. Your joy is your strength. And if the devil succeeds in stealing your joy, you lose your strength – and when that happens, you lose everything.

One of the covenant benefits we have as God’s people is that all things work for our good as long as we love Him and are called according to His divine purpose.
Having said that, I want you to dislodge every negative thought that tries to tell you that God hates you, and is uncomfortable to see you succeed, even to the height of counting in billions of dollars.
Rise up to a point where it becomes easier for anyone around you to attest to the fact that all things are indeed working out well for you. Nothing frustrates the devil like to see you laugh when he had done his worse to make you cry.
One of the advantages you have as a child of God is that God can use even the most perfected error introduced into your life by the devil as a raw material to process your next miracles.
Never you doubt this, that whether you are promoted or demoted, accepted or rejected, associated with or abandoned, beautiful or ugly, employed or unemployed, a Master or a servant, and formally educated or not, all things are working out well for you. Nothing has the capacity to silence the voice of greatness speaking over you.
My 5 months salaries and 2 years leave allowances as an Account Clerk and later on, the Assistant Branch Manager with my former Employer was the first sacrifice I had to pay to discover and actualize my destiny. Trust me, if they hadn’t pushed me to the wall enough, until it became literarily too difficult to breath, I may not have unleashed some of the potentials in me – especially, the gift of writing and motivating others.
I may not know your story but one thing is certain that God who is dynamic and supreme in personality can resolve to give attention to the inner quest of greatness within you using any instrument, whether it is positive or negative. He makes all things work out for your good.
Don’t panic. Don’t cry. Don’t let the devil run your life. And don’t conclude your story yet. Re-awaken your consciousness to the reality of the fact that all things will work for your good. As at the last time I checked, you still have many valuable scores ahead of the devil.

DO NOT BLOW THE BALLOON
“Why did he use that word on me?”
“Why would he speak to me in that manner?”
“Is it because I brought myself too low to associate with everyone?”
“I don’t blame him.”
These, and more are some of the questions and conclusion going on in your mind right now. Your self ego has probably been trampled upon and made of no value. Your meekness has been misinterpreted for weakness and your reputation dragged to the mud. But you still don’t have to blow the balloon.
Blowing your balloon is like losing your self control. And when it happens, your self esteem which you have worked so hard to protect at all cost will still be lost.
You don’t have to lose your self control to show your manliness or maturity. You don’t have to reply every disappointment to show that you are not a moron. Sometimes you have to play the cool and work things out in another way.
He might think he is using you, but it all depends on your perception, understanding and plans. No one can use you. Quote me. I can say it again and again. See yourself as been useful. And when you do, you will find it easier to keep your cool and not blow the balloon.
One of the wisest Roman Emperors, Marcus Aurelius said; “You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”
You must learn to control yourself when people act, and tend to drag you below the level you think you are.
It is true you deserve much more than you are treated in that family, organization and contract, but you don’t have to lose your self control and blow the balloon to prove it.
Take this from me; ‘Your self control is an integral part of your self worth – preserve and value it, and you will be glad you did.’

“SEEING THE crowds, He went up on the mountain; and when He was seated, His disciples came to Him.”
– Matthew 5:1 –
I have read this verse of the Scripture time without number but the kind of revelation I got from it this morning was mind blowing.
In this Bible passage Jesus through His ACTION told us the position we ought to occupy when we see the crowd.
You cannot claim to be the head while you mix yourself up with the crowd. It is no arrogance to work on yourself to the extent that you become positioned at the helm of affairs in your industry. Trust me, if you continue with the crowd, with time you will get lost.
When you discover that your industry is becoming populated with crowd at the plain, it is a divine calling to move up to the mountain. Why? It is at the mountain that the spotlight falls on you. At the mountain, you see and can be seen. When you speak, you can be heard.
Every field of life has its mountain. And those who remain at the valley never amounts to anything. They end up as followers, copycats and always ever learning people and never able to come to full knowledge of the truth.
At the mountain top of your career, not everyone will be privileged to know the principles of your success except those who deserve you and strongly want to learn from you – others end up as fans.
No matter how intelligent you are, until you work yourself up the mountain of your industry or career, most people may never hear nor see you.
They are people whose destinies are connected to you that may never see getting to the industry-mountain as something doable until you do it. None of the disciples of Christ ever thought of moving up to the mountain when they were almost overtaken by the crowd until Jesus set the pace. And today, bear it in mind that they are people whose rising you are delaying when you refuse to move up.
I charge you today to come up to the mountain where you can see and be seen, and you will be glad to you did.
