Where Your Greatness is

Posted on

It’s in you.

Yes. It’s in you. That greatness you have been so desirous to attend is not as far from you as it seems or any detractor might want to make you believe. That greatness is in you.
Your certificates, connections and background might be wonderful leveraging tools to help you achieve your big dream, but in essence, what you need to be great is in you.

Don’t let the devil trick you into abandoning your gift, passion and dream in pursuit of a temporal success he has to offer. What you need to be great is not ‘up there’ but right inside of you.

Never you underestimate the power of your mind to perform with excellence. Those who did, reaped regret and mediocrity as their rewards.

Consistently remind yourself that your GREATNESS is in you. Reconfigure your mind to believe in possibilities. Engage in activities that create room for your best to surface.

If it ever seems like it is not there (in you) is because you have consistently ignored it. And guess what? Whatever you ignore, over time, dies a natural death.

However, if you still find it difficult discovering that potential upon which your greatness has been wired to emanate from or you’ve discovered it but wants to learn how you can convert it into a funnel that channels income to you, then discussing it over with me won’t be a bad idea.

You are never too old to pursue your dream. Don’t let the date on the calendar limit your success in life.

If you can dream again, you can rise again. You are not as far from success as your detractors are making you believe.

Just that phone call, that text message, that blog post, that interview, that book, that new friend or just that short prayer could be the next bridge that will connect you to your long expected future.

Don’t give up until you breathe your last. Those who gave up, never went up.

How to motivate yourself for success

Posted on

You missed it. You messed up. You got it all wrong. It shocked you. But you have not come unto the end of your destiny. Your destiny is too big to be aborted by the devil. Even man’s effort to soil your glorious destiny is like a futile exercise made in pursuit of shadow.

Don’t dwell too long nursing your pains of repeated disappointments. Those that disappointed you don’t really know your worth. No one puts a knife to the cord that holds both of you together if he or she really understood your worth.

Destiny won’t end here. You may have missed it, messed up or got it all wrong but as long as you learnt something from it you haven’t really failed. Failure comes when you saw where you missed it yet you are not determined to do anything different from the old ways you did it.

Be optimistic, but always be ready to deal with issues of disappointment when it comes up. I’m yet to see anyone who has never been disappointed before.

Understand the fact that everyone won’t meet your expectations, and when they couldn’t, don’t you ever think that you have come to the end of your destiny-journey. Even if it seems like it is true, look up, get up and a fresh idea to begin all over again will manifest.

No matter how bad it is, never you let the enemy take away the joy of the Lord in you. Your joy is your strength. And if the devil succeeds in stealing your joy, you lose your strength – and when that happens, you lose everything.

Psychology: How to make life work for your good

Posted on

One of the covenant benefits we have as God’s people is that all things work for our good as long as we love Him and are called according to His divine purpose.

Having said that, I want you to dislodge every negative thought that tries to tell you that God hates you, and is uncomfortable to see you succeed, even to the height of counting in billions of dollars.

Rise up to a point where it becomes easier for anyone around you to attest to the fact that all things are indeed working out well for you. Nothing frustrates the devil like to see you laugh when he had done his worse to make you cry.

One of the advantages you have as a child of God is that God can use even the most perfected error introduced into your life by the devil as a raw material to process your next miracles.

Never you doubt this, that whether you are promoted or demoted, accepted or rejected, associated with or abandoned, beautiful or ugly, employed or unemployed, a Master or a servant, and formally educated or not, all things are working out well for you. Nothing has the capacity to silence the voice of greatness speaking over you.

My 5 months salaries and 2 years leave allowances as an Account Clerk and later on, the Assistant Branch Manager with my former Employer was the first sacrifice I had to pay to discover and actualize my destiny. Trust me, if they hadn’t pushed me to the wall enough, until it became literarily too difficult to breath, I may not have unleashed some of the potentials in me – especially, the gift of writing and motivating others.

I may not know your story but one thing is certain that God who is dynamic and supreme in personality can resolve to give attention to the inner quest of greatness within you using any instrument, whether it is positive or negative. He makes all things work out for your good.

Don’t panic. Don’t cry. Don’t let the devil run your life. And don’t conclude your story yet. Re-awaken your consciousness to the reality of the fact that all things will work for your good. As at the last time I checked, you still have many valuable scores ahead of the devil.

How to Generate Provision to Sponsor Your Vision

Posted on

God, the Creator of the universe is no waster. He is the best business Guru I have met so far in my life. He does not waste His resources and do not encourage His children to do so.

One of the things I respect so much about God is His knowledge of leverage and strategy. He knows what to give, to get what He wants. He’s powerful, almighty and supreme but He still chose to play by this rule so that we, who wants to be conformed into the image of His likeness might learn of Him.

One of His principles I want to share with you today is, GOD’S PRINCIPLE FOR PROVISION. And that principle states that “vision is what attracts provision.” In other words, if you need provision, you must have a vision.

This principle I am sharing with you here today is something that has worked wonders for me. Trust me, if it didn’t work I won’t post it here.

One of the things that makes God respond faster to the prayer of a man with a vision is because He gave the vision. In fact, at every seconds, billions of ideas (capable of making the world a better society) are released from Heaven but the unfortunate thing is that only few persons conceive and write it down to become a vision worth pursuing.

When God looks at those few people that grabbed and cherished these ideas, He says; “thank you” and goes ahead to make the supplies, contacts and strategies to bring that vision to manifestation.

I have never seen a man or woman who had a genuine vision but didn’t get divine provision.

Vision is what attracts the provision of God. I have come to understand too that BIG VISION attracts BIG PROVISION. The bigger the vision, the bigger the provision.

So, instead of trying to adjust and downsize the big vision into a smaller one that suits the level you are at the moment, leave it the way it came and stick closely to God, the author and originator of all great ideas and He will make the provision available.

How to Deal With the Fear of Starting a Successful Blog

How to series
Do you want to join millions of people around the world who are making waves in the blogging industry as a blogger? These ones have gained independence from corporate slavery. Over the week, I met with some extremely successful bloggers who after all they had studied in the Universities ended up Bloggers. One was a Journalist and the other was a Registered Nurse.

Do you want to drastically deal with the fears that have hindered you from making the move into the world of abundance as a blogger? Meaning that you have the passion to write but you are afraid of taking the first step. Probably you considered it a risk not worth taking. Or were you thinking blogging will stop you from living the life of freedom you’ve always wanted? If you answered yes to any or all of those questions then I can guarantee you that you are in the right place.

In this blog I have a special interest in building entrepreneurs who will go round the world teaching others How to Change the World.

Recently I got a message from one of my facebook friends and a keen follower of Emchis Consulting which I think it will be nice to share with you. He said;
“Good morning Mr. Emenike Emmanuel. My name is Stan. I just read your article titled “Misconceptions about Blogging” and felt the need to send you this message whilst the fire ignited by your article is still at full blaze in my mind.

I have a passion for writing and have always wanted to go into blogging, but I don’t know where to put the first step. I harbour fears that I might not be able to sustain it. I will really appreciate your guidance and counsel. I have been following your works on facebook. Thank you Sir.”

This is not the first time I’m receiving this kind of message, I have had people stop me at conferences and on the street with excitement that they finally met me live. I have also had people recommend me for speaking engagements by virtue of the great contents of this blog, Emchis Consulting which is speedily making a wave in the industry, but for the fact that I promised him of creating a new article in his honour and in response to his questions, I have decided to include this testimony. Anyway, this is by the way. Let’s go back to the topic of discussion – How to Deal with the Fear of Starting a Blog.
Registering on wordpress (the best blogging platform) and creating your first article, and afterwards hitting ‘publish’ can be very easy and exciting but continuously churning out great contents can be very difficult, and it is one among the reasons while most people like Stan are afraid if they can sustain it., and were the first three blogs I started which are now abandoned for several reasons even though my wonderful intellectual materials are still there. That’s to say that starting a blog is not enough but having a Big Picture of what the content and marketing of the blog will be like is much more important.

Starting a blog is a great doorway into the realm of freedom from corporate slavery. When Michael Dunlop of and ,Matt Wilson of, Ajaero Tony Martins of, Bamidele Onibalusi of, Darlinton Omeh of, Brian Clark of, Darren Rowse, Rebekah Radice of, Joel Brown of and I myself (founder of Emchis Consulting) set out to finally become bloggers we had several challenges which we knew had the capacity to stop except we aggressively confront and conquer them.

In fact, the first one month you started blogging can be so challenging that if you are not careful you will either be forced by circumstances to dive into too many niches (combining business with news) or quit entirely. This happens especially when you don’t have visitors on your blog.

How to Overcome the Fear of Building a Successful Blog
As a newbie in the blogging industry, these are some of the things you must do;
1. Expect discouragement from friends and family members but be determined to drive through the odds.
2. Work overtime. Take no vacation.
3. Write often. Hone your writing and speaking skills.
4. Give more interest and time to developing good content over design
5. Attend seminars and conferences related to the niche you are blogging about, it helps you to connect with people.
6. Network with other bloggers by meeting them, following their blogs, commenting often on their blog posts, following them on facebook, twitter, google+ etc
7. Make extensive research before you write.
8. Focus on what you are passionate about and it will be hard for you to quit so soon.
9. See blogging like you see every other business that can’t make money without inputting effort.
10. Give yourself hope that one day you might be giving an offer of over a million dollar to buy up your blog.

In Conclusion
The fear of starting your own blog can actually be dealt with if you will learn to follow the advices of pioneers in the industry. Wait a minute, do you know what you might probably be losing if you don’t start now? The fear of wasting the opportunity is enough to keep you determined to start your blogging career today. However, there are too many Misconceptions about Blogging which I would want you to read before you take action into starting your first or next blog today.

One More Secret

Just one more secret to your business excellence, one more secret to become a highflier in life, one more secret to land the biggest job, one more secret to earn the trust of people you have never met and one more secret to earn your name, business or organisation a free ticket to any country of your choice. Between you and your promise land is one more secret… This one more secret has changed my life, business and the way I do things. I want to believe it can as well transform your life as soon as you begin to live by it.

What could this one more secret be? Don’t because you want to be real make yourself vulnerable today or in future. What do I mean by making yourself vulnerable? That’s, thinking you are being real while you belittle, talk down and expose your little secret. Don’t say it the way it is, say it the way you want it to be. Always talk in the tomorrow. For instance, if you are jobless, talk about jobs you can create, you’ve created or that of someone you know or heard about created. If you are a student, talk about your career, talents and great potentials you will end up feeding from in future. If you’re a career person, talk about your promotion, your businesses and possible contracts. And if you don’t have money at the moment or passing through some challenges, don’t talk about it. Build a strong positive mental attitude and you will be surprise how it will influence everything that has your identity.

I was wondering how this ONE MORE SECRET could be instrumental to your success until I looked back into my life from the last two years when I was commissioned to active service in the Ministry of Motivation by God Himself. From that day henceforth, my facebook updates changed, diction changed, association changed, inspiration flowed in and lives in my sphere of contact began to leap for joy. This is to mean, if this secret worked miracles for me, it can as well work much more wonders for you.

You are in great need of this ONE MORE SECRET. What new language could you probably learn today? What new life are you ready to start living today? What new association or connection do you think will definitely be of immense benefit to your excellence in business? Find out… Maybe that could be the one more secret you will need to break some records and walk yourself into the World’s Guinness Book of Record today.

Plan Your Way to the Top: The Biggest Choice You Can Ever Make in Life and How to do it

Plan Your Way to the Top: The Biggest Choice You Can Ever Make in Life and How to do it

Not everyone is born to be a highflier in life but I’m yet to see anyone who dared enough at lofty places and never got there. Although the journey to greatness is littered with challenges ready to pull one down but not a single person who planned well ahead of time was recorded to have missed hitting the zenith. The major reason why most men remain too long at the ground floor has always been the fear of height. Isn’t it ridiculous to mention that greater percentage of people who prayed to God for ‘lifting’ is afraid of heights? Okay, how far do you think taking it SOFTLY will take you in life?

One of the best choices of yours today that will of course yield a tremendous increase in your future are the plans you made. Begin to plan now, and be radical about it. I have said it before and will continue to say it again that a man who cannot plan for his future has nothing to live for. If you say he does, what will he wake up the next day doing? Roaming the street, causing havocs, blocking spaces, and arguing the unnecessary? Bullshit! That’s not what we plan to see in our tomorrow.

The Best Choices

If you wish to be great you must be meticulous and radical in your plans. You must be sure you are not giving away your most valuable asset – TIME, to the wrong person(s). You must be sure you are not shifting to do tomorrow things you’ve got the abilities to do today. And you must be sure you don’t start any business you do not have passion for, and will not be committed to have it transcend to second and many more generations. I have never ceased to tell business owners who care to listen that there’s no justification for being buried in the mediocrity of starting businesses that will begin and end with them. If they do, it will be quite difficult for their posterities to forgive them. This simple word of advice has helped thousands of people who visit my blog to ask themselves serious questions about their industries, the product they promote and the kind of services they offer. For instances; “in the next 10 years, will I still derive satisfaction doing this same business of mine? Or what new trends of business can I likely connect to it to enhance its acceptability in the market?” Those who did ask have received tremendous response from me.

Anyone who has made conscious decision to plan his or her way to the top is always careful to note his excesses, mistakes and areas of imperfection. He’s always eager to do and re-do whatever he sees earns him his biggest income, reputation and value. Such a person does not take chances at limiters engineered to short-circuit his thinking speed. One of the best choices the person makes is to be down-to-earth to see positive changes take place in the lives of people he or she comes across on daily basis.

How to do it

However, planning your way to the top can’t be complete until you have devised new means and strategies to make people depend on you genuinely, if not for everything but for important ingredients of life, for instance; their happiness, care, financial supply, advice, heart-mending etc. Can you build yourself to a point that before people invest they must enquire of your advice, not because you are their Boss but because you have a wealth of knowledge very necessary to their excellence in business? Do you believe you can do that? Ehhhhh…… Of course I know you can but in case it still seems difficult to you, here are simple things you must do:

 Discover your talent(s)
 Develop a new skill
 Build on the old skills
 Master your skills and talents
 Work harder than everyone in the industry you are passionate about
 Increase your resourcefulness
 Talk like an expert even when you are on the making
 And never take the credit for all your successes. Push it to God.

To become someone who can never be ignored, you must have your MIND MAP boldly spelt out during conversation. It is at this revelation that the world arises.

Those who made adequate plans and were ready to invest all that were needed to make it work in the last 10 years are not crawling on the floor today. They are the highfliers we are celebrating in the society today. But one thing is certain, and that has always been my biggest joy that no one and I mean NO ONE who dared it that never got it. The very license you have to enjoy tomorrow is embedded in the ways you planned your today. Remember what Warren Buffet said that “Investors of tomorrow will not profit from yesterday’s growth.” Make your best choice NOW.

Why 2014 is Considered the Year of The Entrepreneurs

Why 2014 is Considered the Year of The Entrepreneurs

2014 has been globally considered by Experts and successful entrepreneurs around the world as the year of the entrepreneurs. This, as I discovered was because of the great number of successful entrepreneurs who are springing off from all works of life. When I conducted my research about entrepreneurs and the business world I came to realise few points that made this year 2014 to be considered the year of the Entrepreneurs by experts. These things are;

1. 2013 produced 138 women as billionaires but 2014 produced 172 billionaires, indicating that 42 women joined the club of billionaires in 2014.
2. In 2013 we had an aggregate net worth of the billionaires to be $5.4 trillion but in 2014 we had an aggregate net worth of billionaires to be $6.4 trillion, indicating an increase of $1 trillion.
3. 2014 has recorded 268 new entrants of billionaires which includes the two gorgeous guys of WhatsApp, Jan Koum and Brian Acton I wrote about in my previous post titled; 5 Lessons I Learnt From the Transaction Between Facebook and WhatsApp.
4. In 2014 Sheldon Adelson joined the top ten billionaires in the world for the first time after adding $11.5 billion to his previous net worth.
5. In 2014 Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook Inc. jumped from $15.2 billion of net worth to $28.5 billion.
6. For the first time in history our own Aliko Dangote, founder of Dangote Group, a man I respect and hold with high esteem so much joined the Top 25 billionaires in the world.
7. And finally, for the first time in history Algeria, Luthuania, Tanzania and Uganda produced her billionaires in dollar. Of a truth, there’s no doubt that the year 2014 so far has really being a blessing to entrepreneurs.

How Thinking ‘SERVICE’ Makes You Rich

How Thinking ‘SERVICE’ Makes You Rich

I n my previous post I told us How Thinking Money Makes You Poor, and today in this post I want to show you how thinking service can make you rich. So, do you really want to be rich or you are satisfied wishing it? Wishes don’t make people rich, instead, action does. And that action is this service I am about to show you. Once again I ask you, do you want to be rich? As if I don’t know – who doesn’t want to be rich? Of course everyone does but the poor can never be totally eliminated. This post today if rightly applied can add a dollar to your account. By this I mean to say that if you discover an area to serve, people will willingly pay you for it.

Jim Rohn, the American Business Philosopher said something from the Bible that amazed me. He said; “Service to many leads to great.” This is exemplified in the number of people that followed the ministry of Jesus Christ. Even after many have read this, some of them still undermine the power of service. Service, no doubt is the only channel through which we pay our rent here on earth and it is still the only reason for which money can leave your hand into mine and that of others. None can ever be rich by thinking money. Most times we are beclouded with this fantasy about money that thinking money, money, money will make us have it. Wake up my dear, the rich has always sought for a means to serve the poor, yet the poor still wonder why the rich are getting richer. Can’t you see they are ones serving you despite how rich they are? The day they get tired of serving you they are FIRED.

Experts have told us that 80 percent of the money generated in the world is controlled by 20 percent of the world population. And from the last time I checked, this twenty percent offer the greatest and most widely used services.

No matter how long you continue to think about money you may never have it. My own case was a glaring one. As much as I thought about money, I lacked the money even more. I never knew I was empowering my mind to work against my success. This is the case of most entrepreneurs today but thank God for this article that has come to change us; the way we think and the things we think on. Steve Jobs sought for a way to make computer more portable and digitalised so as to serve us better he built Apple computer. and the money came. Bill Gates sought for a way to simplify issues especially during calculation so as to serve the world better he gave us Microsoft and the money came. Richard Branson sought for a way to make travels in the air more convenient so that people can get value for their money and he gave us Virgin Airways. Aliko Dangote, the great man of the African community sought for a way to serve Africans better he gave us Dangote Group of companies that have continued to cater for our Cement, Salt, Sugar, Flour, Juice and Pasta needs and the money came. Okay, what of Mike Adenuga?- The giant man of Telecommunication in Africa. His decision to serve his people was his propelling force to compete favourably with MTN in a market that was already taken. Anyone that ever became rich had a way he served.

Before I finally drop my pen let me ask again, Are You Ready to Be Rich? If you are, then you should be thinking of new ways to serve your generation. There has never been any other better way of becoming rich than through service. Thinking Service Can Make You Rich if you know how to think it.
Thank and God bless you.

How to Become a Successful Motivational Speaker Speaking to Elders

How to Become a Successful Motivational Speaker Speaking to Elders

When granted/offered the privilege to speak to elders, it is a great opportunity you must never joke with. I know of great and talented Comedians who have lost every contact with the Government meetings in Nigeria simply because they misused this kind of opportunity and I also know of others who have repeatedly being invited to spice up every government’s meeting with some sort of comic relief because they maximized the first opportunity. Remember they said there’s no second chance to give a first impression, which is true. So, if you make it to speak before elders, whether in the traditional settings, in Church, in government or in business, here are things you must do and the ones you must never do in order to remain afloat in the industry of public speaking.

1. Never insult them in your speech

Yes. It is a taboo to insult elders especially here in Africa. Pick your words. It is better you are termed a poor speaker than to be termed an insulting speaker. At least they might think you don’t have wealth of knowledge on the topic offered you to speak on and may do better if given another topic. But in a situation you ended up insulting them because you had the platform, know it well that they will talk about you in the negative, and I hope you know what that means? It simply means, no business – doors closed.
2. Never tell them lies because you want to excite them or prove to them you are versatile

Nothing soils the reputation of a speaker like telling lies. I know you might be trying to excite them but don’t you think they will find out? What then becomes of your reputation if they find out? Elders can go as far as suing you when you tell them lies, especially the ones that has something to do with them.

3. Tell them what they need to hear (they are less driven by wants)

What they need to hear is the reason for which they invited you to speak. So in every speaking style you may want to employ, make sure you are telling them what they need to hear not what you want to talk about. You can ask them before mounting the podium. There’s no error in asking question. Ask the person that handed over the letter to you so that he can give you details of what your audience might be expecting so that you don’t end your speech regretting. Your joy as a motivational speaker is not because you have spoken well with powerful accent but in the audience being left motivated.

4. Make them forget their worries either by cracking jokes or addressing their pressing need

I have come to realize through many years of having dealings with elders that nothing sets them uneasy like their worries. And most of them especially the wealthy ones can do everything at their reach to get it out. In making elders forget their worries two things are involved. One is to crack jokes and another is to address their pressing need. Don’t tell me you can’t do any of this. If you can’t then you are not yet ready to be a Motivational speaker.

5. Learn to quote higher authorities they can’t refute their philosophies

Elders want to know how vast you are. There’s no other means of getting to know about quotes of authorities of diverse industries except through books. In that case, if you want to know what experts and elders have to say over a particular issue under discussion you must be a good reader – you must read books. Most importantly, search quotes of some elders who may likely be in the event, and as you speak, quote them. In a situation you can’t get their books or that of other elders they respect their philosophy Google it. The internet has made many things much easier for us today. One of the talented public speakers I learnt this strategy from was Niyi Adesanya of Nigeria. He uses this strategy when addressing Yoruba elders by quoting Pa Obafemi Awolowo.

6. Speak with confidence.

When speaking to elders don’t hide the genius in you. You don’t have a second chance to make the first impression. Do your homework very well. For me, sometimes I rehearse before a mirror, record my speeches with a phone so that I can listen to myself and I also ask my siblings how well I have performed.
The first day I spoke in a Church before my Dad, I prepared very well in the night and on that Sunday, I performed so excellently that he congratulated me with a bottle of wine and some other expensive gifts he wouldn’t have given me ordinarily.

7. Work with time
Elders know what time is than young people do, so when speaking to them stick to your timing. Don’t think you can always apologise for being late. Stick to the time allotted to you and be sure you exhausted your topic.

My Weekend Discovery of Crawling Businesses

Posted on

How to Stop Your Business From Crawling

I moved round the city yesterday to observe good number of companies and industries that have been in business for over 5 years and my discoveries were so amazing. Two of the last places I visited were a boutique along Mosque Street by Hospital Road and a Photograph/Video studio along Cameroun Road by Ube Street (all in Aba, Nigeria). The looks on the faces of the two owners of these businesses proved how frustrated they were.

When I threw few of my sampling techniques of identifying businesses that are crawling or that may likely crawl, I came to realise how far these businesses were behind the modern technology. Like the photograph studio I made mention of visiting, they were over 5 years behind where the technology is today. When others, I mean their competitors have gone into the use of digital cameras and computer system for professional editing they were still busy with their mechanical/analogue approach. Come to think of the signpost (an arrow indicating where their business is and what they had the capacity to offer) they had, it was mocking. I know that no reasonable person in his right senses will like to do business with such companies. The signposts are so unfriendly that it can send a potential customer on flight at the first sight.

However, something can still be done to revive those businesses and in few moments from now, I will be offering my solution if well implemented will help them bounce back to life and thus regain their customers’ loyalty and confidence.

So, is your business or that of someone you know experiencing any of those setbacks I cited above from my weekend discoveries? Here are things you must do to stop your business from crawling again.
How to Stop Your Business from Ever Crawling Again

1. Be observant of where the technology is at the moment

Customers will consider it an insult on their persons if they discover you sold to them an old tech with the current price tag. If they were so quite to reserve their comments bear it in mind they will never return again. Get to know what is in vogue at the moment that your customers may likely want. Spice those things into your services and you will continually land more prospects and of course returning customers too.

2. If possible, don’t let the world around you develop faster than you

To remain relevant both to your customers and in your industry you must develop alongside the technology. When your competitors are beginning to use computerized doors, join them. When they are beginning to use digital facilities, join them. And if you can, take the lead but in a situation you are not creative enough you can learn to follow well by incorporating two or three new technologies of your competitors. Don’t let the technology develop faster than you otherwise your competitors will push you out of the industry.

3. Look for one new technology you can invent

No matter how uncreative you think you are, there’s always a new thing you can do. There’s always a new technology you can embrace. What drag customers into your business most times for the first time might not be the wonderful referrals but the outlook of your business. Like I made mention of the ugly signpost I saw, what does yours look like? How creative is it? If you are to be the customer will you make a choice to go ahead with the purchase after sitting the signpost? I leave it to you to judge.

4. Always check out what your competitors are doing

This point looks similar to the one discussed above but here I want to cite something different. This point is for those who are afraid to take risk. The easiest way to avoid uncalculated risk is to watch your competitors more closely than they can ever watch themselves. For every action they took for the first 6 months watch out to see what the reactions of customers were. Don’t be in a haste to copy otherwise you might be copying a gambled decision of the business owners. Watch before you leap but don’t die watching. Copy professionally.

5. Ask relevant questions concerning your business

Most business owners are so carried away by the rigours and fantasy of business that they no longer care to ask people how they business is, what people think about them and how they can get better. Although asking question is necessary but not everyone is qualify to be asked. People like your competitors and novice are not worth asking.

6. Come for mentorship
Yes. I have been helping you all through my articles on a distant level but now I’m offering you an opportunity to present yourself and your business for mentorship on a closer relationship. It was for this course that I established Emchis Financial Empowerment Summit (EFES). It is on this platform that you ask me all sorts of questions relating to your business and career and you will receive instant reply within 24 hours. It is a group on FACEBOOK. 7 Kinds of People That Can Benefit From a Network Marketing Business

Network marketing business is not for everyone just like every other forms of business are not for everyone. It is a special kind of business that is ready to profit those who are ready to stake their best time and energy for it.

Those who thought that once they are into network marketing business otherwise known as MLM they are made for life are often those who get frustrated and drop out along the line.

In today’s post, I have come up with my latest research of the seven kinds of people who can benefit from a network marketing business. That you didn’t make it to these 7 kinds of people does not mean there’s no hope for you. No. There’s hope for you because it is very easy to join in these group of people.

Before I select people or I permit people to work with me in the distribution of the cosmetic product I market here in Nigeria, I weigh them using these 7 classes of people I am about to share with you today. And if any of them was able to make it to these list, then I can be sure the person will benefit from my business, the person won’t get frustrated along the line, and he/she will be more willing to work with me. In the other hand, if I realise that the passion with which he or she started is no longer there and of course it can’t be resurrected, I relief the person of the job.

Without further delay, let me bring to your notice these 7 kinds of people who can benefit from a Network Marketing Business.

People That Network Marketing Business can Make Rich

1. Those who have money but do not know where to invest their money
2. Those who have a dream, a vision or an idea of what to do to become rich but do not have the money to start up
3. Those who are already in business but lacks some necessary business skills (such as Sales skills) needed to make it big in business
4. Those who want to make new and credible contacts without having to force themselves on anybody
5. Those who like helping people
6. Those who need a part-time job or home-based business

Do you have a dream, a vision and a workable idea that can land you millions but don’t even have a dime for a startup? I urge you to come into network marketing business. In Network Marketing you are offered the privilege to meet different classes of people who derive joy in helping others succeed. Unlike other businesses where two persons in the same industry compete, Network Marketing business partners helps you succeed alongside with them.
And you know what? In Network Marketing you have the privilege to run it as a part-time or home-based business as it won’t interfere in any way with some other businesses you might be involved in.

Why am I suggesting Network Marketing Business (MLM)? Yes. Here is where you find people who your success is their concern not because they know you but because their success is connected to yours. So they will be more willing to help you succeed.

5 Lessons I Learnt From the Transaction between Facebook and WhatsApp

5 Lessons I Learnt From the Transaction between Facebook and WhatsApp
On Wednesday 19th February, 2014 we got a breaking news that Facebook owned by Mark Zuckerberg has not only concluded agreement to buy WhatsApp founded by Jan Koum and Brian Acton for Nineteen Billion Dollars but that he has fully paid for it both in cash and in shares.

This news got me thinking but I am grateful my thoughts didn’t end without some lessons to learn which I am about to share with you in this post.

These five lessons are so critical and greatness-provoking that if you can look deep into it well enough, it can spark off the lying giant in you to take action.

Before I proceed, let me tell you brief info about WhatsApp and Facebook. Facebook started 10 years ago and WhatsApp 5 years ago. Facebook has 1.2 billion registered members and WhatsApp 450 million registered members with over 1 million people registering every day..

Top 5 Lessons to learn from the transaction between WhatsApp and Facebook

1. Don’t let your background limit you from maximizing the hidden potentials in you.
Everyone has got a background. Jan Koum, the founder of WhatsApp had his own background – in fact an ugly one to mention. Jan Koum had to be employed as a Grocery store sweeper in order to assist his mother cater for the family, but it never limited him from becoming a self-made billionaire today. According Forbes release Jan Koum is now worth over 6.8 billion dollars.

2. Don’t let your employer limit you from becoming an entrepreneur.
Brian Acton, co-founder of WhatsApp worked with Yahoo as the Vice President of the Engineering department before leaving Yahoo as a job seeker. He applied for a job to work with Facebook in 2009 but was rejected. Look at what Brian Acton tweeted; “Facebook turned me down. It was a great opportunity to connect with some fantastic people. Looking forward to life’s next adventure.”
Despite being rejected by Facebook, he never rejected himself instead; he called out the creative power within to initiate a process Facebook was over-willing to buy even if they lose.
3. Starting your own business today could be the wisest decision you will ever make in a lifetime in the next 5 to 10 years to come.
Robert Kiyosaki was right when he said that becoming a business owner is the easiest means to becoming and staying wealthy in life. Who would have accepted to pay his employee to become a Billionaire which Brian Acton and Jan Koum are today? Definitely nobody in his right frame of mind can do that. Research has shown that no employer pays you to be rich. I know you can’t doubt that.

If Brian Acton had continued carrying his files about in search of a new job after leaving Yahoo, he wouldn’t have become $3 billion richer today.

Now you have got the experience and the expertise, what is then hindering you from becoming an Entrepreneur of distinction? Don’t forget you will always lose 100 percent of the shot you never made.

4. When making negotiation make sure you won’t lose in the long run.
The negotiation to buy WhatsApp started in 2012 but being a wise man Jan Koum was, he never accepted the offer he was made. Google offered to buy WhatsApp for $10 billion but Jan Koum refused not because WhatsApp was really worth 10 billion dollars but because he knows his own worth. He knew he’s worth more than that. So when Facebook finally came up with their $19 Billion bids, Koum jumped at it. Today, that has made him a fortune.

When negotiating a contract, make sure you aren’t losing. Don’t panic about pricing. Believe in who you are and what you have. If you can position yourself well enough, buyers will only see greatness, opportunities and strengths in you and your products and services – they will never get to see the threats.

5. Don’t sell or merge because you are frustrated. Do it because you’ve got something to gain.
When making deals, make sure you aren’t making it because you are frustrated or because you are afraid of competition. Make it clear to your buyer that you are ready to face any form of competition in case he decides to start a similar business.

I am of the believe that Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook inc. decided to buy WhatsApp at such an exorbitant price because he was afraid of the threat WhatsApp was posing to his business. **Apologies** There’s no doubt the biggest competitor of Facebook in the last one year was WhatsApp.

If WhatsApp will continue at this growth rate, definitely they will surpass Facebook in the nearest future and I guess it was the fear of having such a relentless competitor that made Facebook accept to pay Jan Koum and Brian Acton such amount of money.

However, whether WhatsApp will make Mark Zuckerberg richer than he is today, I don’t know but I still see this as a big risk which will either pay off in future or may not. Whatever that happens, we are watching and I wish my Billionaire Mentor, Mark Zuckerberg the very best. He has always remained the biggest inspiration to any young person that wants to become a Billionaire before 30.

List of People Who Became Millionaires Before Turning 25

While trying to gather this information I discovered that there was absolutely nothing ‘luck’ contributed in making these ones who turned Millionaires before 25 who they are today. So if you are excusing yourself that you aren’t as lucky as they are stop – for no successful Entrepreneur ever banked on luck. Of course Ralph Waldo Emerson said; “shallow men believe in luck. Strong men believe in cause and effect.” The cause and effect here simply tells us that for every decisions, actions and reactions we make has its corresponding effect which could either be success or failure.

6 Ways to Help You Stop Thinking MONEY and Start Thinking Wealth

6 Ways to Help You Stop Thinking MONEY and Start Thinking Wealth
The rich are different from the poor not because they were created from different parts of the world but because of the way they have chosen to think. While a rich man is busy thinking nations, a poor man is busy thinking his family. While the rich is busy thinking trans-generationally, the poor is busy thinking now. While the rich is busy thinking on how to sow his next seed, the poor is busy thinking where next a seed to eat might be coming from. And funny enough, while the rich is busy thinking wealth, the poor is busy thinking money. If you are to match their thoughts side-by-side do you think they will produce equal result? Don’t forget the Holy Bible said; “As a man thinks in his heart so is he.” It is absolutely impossible that anybody can be different from the way he or she thinks.
If you are interested to quit working for money and start working for fortune this is that article you have been waiting for. It has the capacity to change the way you think about money, the way you think about God and the way you’ve been thinking wrongly about yourself. If you must stop thinking money and start thinking wealth (fortune), the followings are what you must know and do.
1. Understand How Money is Made, Spent And Invested
Sometimes it is funny that so many people only know about the a, b, c of money, which is; work for money, make the money and spend the money. In most cases you will even be amazed that they can’t lay claim on things they have used the money on. Money spent on trivial things can never be re-claimed except the ones you invest. And the best way to invest is in God’s kingdom.
2. Understand What ‘Real’ Money Is
Money is more than the liquid cash we know. Money in the hand of a man who honours God is an instrument of kingdom expansion but the reverse becomes the case for a man who has no respect for God. Two Beings seek our services and honour – one is God and another is Money. Matthew 6:24 said; “no one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD AND MONEY.” The one you use at the expense of the other tells us what you think. Don’t use God – use money. Money is not meant to be honoured.
3. Understand That God Don’t Answer Our Financial Needs By Throwing Down Cash, Instead He Gives Us Revelation, Vision And An Idea
When a Nation cries for help from God, He sends them a man. When the man gets ready to fulfill God’s mandate God gives him a vision. When a man asks for money He gives him an idea. And when the vision looks too similar with what every other person has God gives such a person a Revelation (a light on his path to see clearly). In the business terms we call it innovation. Don’t expect God to dance to your tune – instead, follow His pattern. He has done all and even the information product in your hand now is still one of the ways He’s talking to you. The sound health, the boldness and the unique life you have is yet another means He’s attending to your financial needs. Go ahead and maximize it.
4. Think Service, Think Others And Maximize Both
Do you know that the only way you can pay for your rent on earth is through your services to God and to humanity? If you aren’t serving in any area in life you are actually not paying your rent for being accommodated here on earth. In such case consider yourself a debtor who must surely pay. Get involved and serve. The shortest route to greatness is service. This is because service to many leads to greatness. Stop thinking money – think service.
5. Think the Kingdom – God’s Kingdom
The Kingdom which you and I pray we inherit must be our primary focus. You will soon discover that when you become so focused to favour the course of the Kingdom you will become instantly blind to every other distractions. Fela Durotoye said; “focus creates blindness.” The Scriptures in Matthew 6:33 said; “but seek first the kingdom of God ….. and all these things shall be yours as well.”

J. Paul Getty’s Quotes

Industrialist and the CEO of Getty Oil Company
Industrialist and the CEO of Getty Oil Company

J. Paul Getty is one of the most respected men of his time. He began brokering oil leases for his father George Getty in 1914 and just within 2 years in 1916 he established his first successful oil well in Oklahoma and by the 1920s he has already amassed great wealth drilling oil in California. Having acquired the required experience, when his father died in 1930, he became the President of his father corporation.
At the age 23 Getty had earned his first $1 million which is today worth over $20 million. Just like Warren Buffett, Paul Getty was a great investor. He uncovered dividend-paying companies who are key players in the market and he stayed long-term with them. One of the things that excite me about Getty was that he believes in buying when others are selling. Before his death, Paul Getty, his Getty Oil Company not included, he also manages other 200 companies. The manual for becoming rich which he left behind for us is ‘How To Be Rich.’ Although so many people claim that information in this book of his is already outdated, I want to make it clear here that there are more life truth in that book.
These Quotes made by J. Paul Getty will transform your Business Mindset. Enjoy it!

Top Quotes on Wealth Creation From Charles Apoki

Posted on Updated on

Becoming wealthy is easier today than what it use to be in the past. So, if it is something you’ve always wished? Here are quotes on Wealth Creation from a notable Entrepreneur that will change your life.

Before I proceed, let me introduce Charles O. Apoki to you. Charles O. Apoki is a Medical Doctor who came from a WRETCHED background in the Niger Delta but his decision to be wealthy in life was and is still very strong. He believes that “God cannot force you [anyone] to get rich. You must be willing.” Today, God has called him into ministry. He’s one of the great men of God in Nigeria with special mandate to teach Wealth Creation. Oh, did I forget to tell you he is an Author? One of his booklets I value so much is; “Money Is An Idiot.”

Check out what he has to say about wealth:

“The purpose of money is not for comparative acquisition but for comparative responsibility”

“Wealth at a time becomes boring if there is no corresponding responsibility”

“Money has no religion. Money is neutral and very mobile”

“It is ideas that create the economic gradient for the economic flow in any direction. Patroniseable ideas surpass the wealth withholding mindset of people. They cause patronage and wealth flow”

“The docile and consumptive, the ignorant and ignorance are raw materials for the creative, enterprising and productive individuals”

“If a poor Egyptian had noticed Moses’ basket she would have carried him to Pharaoh’s police to gain favour”

“I hate poverty and the only way to overcome it is by being enterprising”

“Information is money, try as much as possible to get financially pregnant information. They deliver money if properly midwifed”

“The dynamism of wealth ensures that money is in a fluid state it always gravitates in the direction of ideas, values, services, opportunities, recreation and better options”

“If anything you do can attract people’s attention, it will attract money”

Do you find this quotes useful? Share it! That’s just a few of Charles Apoki’s idea.

5 Key Things You Must Do Before You Die

Posted on Updated on

What would you like people to say about you after you’re gone? If you’re to write your ‘biography’ what would you want it to look like?

You may have heard that the best way to predict the future is to invent it. If that be the case, 5 Key Things are critical that must be achieved otherwise you’ve lived an unfulfilled life.

1. Discover Yourself

Man is a superbeing, created for superachievement. When you tap into the inner you, you will be amazed at what you can achieve.

God’s purpose for you can’t be thwarted but until you awaken the giant within nothing worthwhile happens.

Each of us is born with a talent. It is either you use it or you useless it.

To be counted as one who have lived a full life you must DISCOVER YOURSELF.

2. Be Yourself

Often times we seem to live our lives using another person’s blueprint which isn’t necessary. Copy nobody! Even if the person is your father.

Live your life before you die otherwise you will look back to regret when no life is there to live. Just be original.
3. Leave a Legacy

What would people look at and remember you. How many lives would you like to inspire when your history is read? The likes of Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Reinhard Bonnke, Nnamdi Azikiwe were men who left a legacy.

One more legacy you must leave before you die is building a Great company (business and culture).

4. Give Back

Everything you have the society gave you. Carve a niche to give back. Replicate yourself before you die. Don’t die with your talent untransferred.

The inability of most Business owners to give back is what has hindered trans-generational businesses. Better to die empty than rub the world.

5. Get to Know Jesus Christ

Life is vanity without Jesus. If you must enjoy now and enjoy thereafter in eternity, you must have a great relationship with Jesus.

To know Him is to repent and confess your sins, then you’re purified. When you know Him you enjoy here. Do it before you die.

Mind you, you may not have a second chance to do this 5 things. If you can get them right you’ve lived a fulfilled life. Goodluck!

Power of Persistence

Posted on

PERSISTENCE is what’s needed to achieve anything in life whether from God or from humanity. The Bible told us of how a poor widow was able to have her needs met simply because she mastered the art of being persistent. Sometimes, life may not yield you the result you sought for but through persistence you can get everyone dance to your tone of music.

You’ve got to insist never to give up on that relationship, connection, job, result or what have you. Charge towards it and challenge every standing orders that may want to form a barricade. The universe can only respond in equal proportion to your quest if not more than that if you insist, persist and persevere.

Were you told ‘get out!’ in the past? Did life order you to use the exit door – ordering you away from your prosperity? Or did your Boss, Spouse, Friend, Tutor or Parent refuse you that which you so much desired? Don’t give up! Don’t lose hope! What you need is re-inforcement, a new strategy and a concrete argument. Re-empower yourself by gaining more energy and be bold to look your challenge in the face and say; ‘I will never give up!’

Thinking from diverse perspective – it could be that that refusal made to your request was because your intentions were not wholly understood or because you lack concrete reason(s) why what you’ve asked for should be done. Re-visit your plan, come back again and again, and trust me one day life will deliver to you that which you sought for.

Hold on to that most holy faith. Don’t cast it down simply because someone rejected you. You might be rejected or refused a job today but that should not make you quit. Go back, retreat and re-examine yourself.

When you ask and no one replies, search! When you search and you didn’t find, knock at the next available door. When you knock and no one opens the door, combine the three strategies; ask, search and knock. Don’t quit because no one replied. Repeat this process over and over again.

It is not your fault that your first venture, after all
“Failure is a common denominator that has once, twice or many times in the past divided many great and later successful people”
~ Emenike Emmanuel [msp]
but it becomes your fault if you fail to persist.

You may not know how many miles you’ve covered in the imaginary world of getting your desires met, I guess you are closer to your success than ever. It might be too late to quit now. Just persist by doing it over again.

Get attracted to those things that inspire you. Add more power to be better, to do better and to achieve better. Don’t quit where mere men quit, you are a Superachiever, a Hyperthinker and a Change agent. Give the greatness within you an opportunity to express itself.

Remember, persistence is not a muscular job – it is entirely a Mind work. To do this you must work on your mind. Set it right and get all things work in your favour.

Notwithstanding the quadrant you find yourself, persistence is your master key for survival otherwise you may be quitting very early.

Do you have any achievement you’ve recorded in life that was as a result of being PERSISTENT? Please share it with us. Together we can assist each other achieve better. Keep sharing on facebook, twitter, google+ and press.

6 Ways to Become More Productive

Posted on

The difference between men of activity and men of productivity is in the measure of jobs left undone after the day was over.

The inspiration to write this article came while I was walking down to the office in the morning. I pondered over it then and said to myself; “Boy! Let’s see how productive you will be today.” The bitter truth is that they are days so disgusting that we end up wet and weak yet not accomplishing much. But can I tell you that it isn’t natural… That is to mean; you can either choose to be productive or not.

One of the key factors I have observed that distinguish the Rich from the Poor is that the Rich are men of productivity while the Poor are men of activity. In the neutral sense of it there’s nothing wrong with activity but how come it has always stopped the average man from ever becoming as wealthy as he wanted?

I didn’t bore myself today by setting unrealistic goals, I was straight and simple to set three goals which I insisted to see I did finish it before coming back. I had in my To-do-list a proposal to compose for my Motivational Business Series among others and I’m glad I did today. That’s what it means to be productive.

What are the benefits for being productive?

Being productive is the best thing anyone can do. When you are productive as a subordinate you manifest the result of law of attraction. It makes you a favourite staff, a reliable boss and most importantly, the spotlight will always be on you. People tend to run to you each time a work is required to be done fast and in good condition.

Having watered your mind to find or increase your interest in being productive, I think the time is right to disclose to you the 6 Ways to Become Productive.

Let’s get down on them so that we could do something else.

1. Recognize God

Of course this is not a religious sermon but whatever we do in this life without God is prone to fail. God may not be asking you to let Him do the job but you must recognize His Sovereignty and Supremacy.

“Our service to God is not to provoke His blessings but to fulfill His purpose for creating us.”
~ Anya Oko

See God as the first.

2. Focus on your strength

One of the reasons why most Entrepreneurs find it difficult to be productive is because they start business in fields or industries they have no passion and thus strength in.

How can one discover his strength?

To find the area of your strength discover the area of your true passion. And how can you find this area of your passion? Ask yourself of things you can willingly do without asking for a pay check.

Any time you stop focusing on your strength you are bound to be very unproductive. So, to become productive, focus on your strength.

3. Don’t sabotage yourself

So many people are the root cause of their problems. They intentionally sell themselves to their enemies through their characters.

Don’t lie to yourself. Don’t be your own enemy.

4. Learn to work as a team

Be a team player. After you’ve learnt every other thing you must learn to work with a group. Don’t always believe you can achieve much going solo.

5. Learn to delegate responsibility

You can’t be everywhere at the same time and you can’t do everything all alone. You’ve got to let others mind the next post while you focus on someting else.

6. Be yourself

Don’t fake who you are not. Be original! Understand your limit.

Productivity is all it takes to be productive. Like begat like. The more productive you become, the more likely you will get the opportunity to be more productive.

Do you know of someone who wants to be more productive? Share this article with them or feature it in your blog.

Financial Independence – commemorating Naija @53

Aside Posted on Updated on

Just fifteen days ago my country-Nigeria celebrated her 53rd anniversary of securing independence from the Britain but what I have never ceased to ask is how independent we are seeing that we now import and emigrate in multiples. Despite all that have been said, half done and in worst scenerio undone, the rate of dependency by our youths on the government, their parents and on their certificates in Nigeria is on the increase. This is why few old men and women who never discovered the strategy towards retiring early pray to work until their 70s simply because they are in search of financial independence.

I have come to terms that there’s no other better time to transmit this urgent information of seeking for financial independence otherwise known as financial freedom than now every youth in Nigeria has lost confidence in our Government-in-Power, GIP. Just like most youth today, I use to think that it was the sole responsibility of the government to carter for her citizens in every angle until I grew up, discovered my purpose for living and it became a burden to me to give back to my society.

As we are still in our month of celebration or planning to celebrate the upcoming independence, we should also check how financially independent we are. Remember, we are not free until we are financially free.

As our politicians celebrate their 53years of keeping Nigeria in bondage, may we, the zero-tolerance youths rise up to fight peacefully for financial independence. We are looking forward to the New Nigeria of December 31, 2025 our mentor spoke about which we tapped into to say that by then every youth in Nigeria must have developed his/her own business.

Nigerian youths are tired of being used as a business depot where different ministries and agencies that have exhausted or not received their annual budget declare vacancies just to make money from selling scratch cards. This is indeed a high rate of sheer wickedness on a person seeking for green pasture. I have also heard that some people demand for money in order to offer the unemployed job, but the question is, where will someone who has been unemployed for years get the money to lobby?

If you can reason from my own perspective you will realize that financial independence or freedom does not come when you secure a white collar job instead, that’s another form of modern slavery just like visa lottery.

Financial independence comes when you discover your purpose for living, tirelessly work to translate it into a skill and persistently add more values than you are ready to take. At this point every talent you discover or skill you develop projects you into the atmosphere of greatness where the liberty to be rich abounds.

It is my desire that our independence will also favour our financial status.
